Discover our plans to transform Penrhadw Farm into a country hotel, restaurant and destination in the heart of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
Following more than a year of design development, technical assessment and community engagement, our full planning application for Penrhadw Farm has now been submitted to Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority.
The application brings together the proposed hotel, Barn Restaurant, Lounge Bar, Garden Grill, landscape and biodiversity improvements, sustainable transport measures and wider environmental strategy for the 20-acre farm.
Planning Application: A clear, careful process shaped by expert local input
We have now submitted our full planning application to the National Park Authority. It has taken a little longer than hoped, as we wanted to make sure the plans and supporting information were properly coordinated before submission.
A Residents’ Planning Brochure covering the final plans, designs, parking, landscaping, jobs and community commitments has been created. Printed copies have been delivered to residents; please contact us if you would like a large print or Welsh language copy.

Penrhadw has been a working farm for more than three hundred years and will continue to be. In that time, the farm has seen enormous change both in the land that surrounds us and the people who live and work in the Taf Fechan Valley and the wider Merthyr Tydfil County.
